The Wait is an original, roots, rock & roll band from Boston. Founded in 1992, they played for years, then and after a hiatus, re-emerged in 2010 and has been spreading the love ever since. The band is made up of two lead vocals, 2 guitars, bass, drums and keyboards.  Original Wait songs tend to be driving, melodic about serious subjects and happy to be alive fun. Their influences are wide and varied among band members (The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, U2, to name a few) but put through the musical blender, fans feel they are akin stylistically to a band such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
